THRY ARCHIVE LLC / Pre-release information
Session legal information.
Last updated October 2, 2026. These policies describe Session licensing and pre-release information. Release-specific software and purchase terms will be presented before download or checkout.
Licensing and customer accounts
Trial signup and purchases collect your name, email, agreement acceptance time, and license information. Trial requests also record the browser user agent. Keys contain your name and email in a signed, readable payload; signing prevents alteration but does not encrypt those details. Treat your key as private. Online license checks send key ID, machine ID, app version/build, and operating system. We record first and last use of each machine to apply your PC allowance and display your devices. Changes take effect at the next online check; offline copies retain their last status.
Email sign-in and payments
Customer sign-in uses a one-time email link valid for 15 minutes and an HTTP-only account cookie valid for up to seven days. Supabase stores hashed sign-in and session tokens. Resend receives your email and message content to deliver sign-in links and license keys. Stripe processes card details on its hosted checkout; we receive order and payment-status information for license fulfillment. Do not share sign-in links or keys. The one-time Complete Edition offer has no automatic renewal.
License record retention
License and transaction records are kept as needed to administer licenses, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Expired account tokens are cleaned up as sign-in links are redeemed. Contact contact@thryarchive.com for access, correction, deletion, or other applicable privacy rights, quoting a key ID rather than the full key. Identity verification and legal retention exceptions may apply.
FL Studio workflow familiarity
Session uses a pattern-based production workflow intended to feel familiar to FL Studio users. References to a channel rack, piano roll, playlist, or mixer describe production concepts and Session features. They do not promise an identical interface, every FL Studio feature, identical results, or a replacement license for FL Studio. Session is a separate application with its own implementation and limitations.
FLP and FST interoperability
Import support is intended to help you continue working with projects and presets you own or are authorized to use. Session reads supported project and preset data; importing does not transfer an Image-Line account, product license, plugin entitlement, or license key. Do not submit another person's projects or presets without permission. Keep the original files and backups, and verify the arrangement, routing, automation, samples, and sound after import.
Plugins, samples, and native instruments
Third-party VST2 and VST3 plugins must be separately installed and properly licensed. Project or preset files may reference samples, instruments, or effects that are not included in Session. FL-native instruments such as FLEX and Sytrus are not currently recreated. Supported effect mappings use Session equivalents and may sound different. Session does not grant permission to copy, extract, distribute, or run Image-Line software, factory assets, or protected content outside the rights granted by their owners.
Respecting other software licenses
Using Session does not cancel or replace obligations under an applicable Image-Line or other third-party agreement. Session's terms do not authorize piracy, activation bypass, unauthorized access, or infringement. Any legally permitted interoperability or reverse-engineering activity remains subject to applicable law; these notices are not a determination that a particular development method is lawful.
Release and purchase information
Session is starting with a free beta until we feel it is ready for the official release, with no purchase or payment details required. We plan to collect crash reports, fix the top 20 issues, and reach 50 real users before charging. Paid release pricing and terms will be announced later. Beta signup is not a paid subscription or a perpetual Complete Edition purchase. Beta keys have no scheduled expiry. We will announce the transition and access terms before the official release. Device allowance is disclosed before keys are issued. Download availability and version details are shown on the download page. Mandatory consumer rights and any existing paid entitlements remain preserved.
Session privacy and local processing
Session works with projects, recordings, presets, and settings on your computer. The inspected stem extractor processes audio locally and downloads required models from Hugging Face. The app can check the website for release information and plugin rules. Download and update requests provide ordinary connection information to our hosting providers. We count requests by day and release, not completed installations; these counts do not contain project audio.
Crash reports and memory dumps
If you choose to send a crash report through Session, we receive the version, build, operating system, report text, optional description, and any attached memory dump. Reports and dumps can contain file paths, plugin details, account names, project fragments, or other information present in application memory. Do not send a dump if it may contain material you are not authorized to share. We use reports to diagnose failures. Files are stored in a separate private Supabase bucket and can be accessed only through owner-admin controls or time-limited download links. Do not share those links.
Service providers and privacy choices
Vercel hosts the site and handles requests. Supabase stores release records and private crash files. We use a hashed network identifier for crash-report rate limiting; expired rate-limit records are cleaned up as requests are processed. Hosting providers may retain operational logs under their own policies. Crash reports remain available for debugging until removed through admin retention controls or a supported deletion request; deletion is not automatic on a fixed schedule. To request access, correction, or deletion, contact contact@thryarchive.com and quote the crash report ID if available. Mandatory retention and privacy rights remain subject to applicable law. Licensing, customer accounts, and payment disclosures appear above.
Support and community feedback
Bug reports and feature ideas sent through the contact form are handled under the website Privacy Policy. Send only material you are entitled to share. Do not include passwords, license keys, confidential recordings, or unnecessary personal information. Sending an idea permits us to evaluate it; it does not transfer ownership of your music or establish a confidentiality agreement, payment obligation, or promise to implement the idea.
Your music and third-party rights
THRY ARCHIVE LLC does not acquire ownership of music you create simply because you use Session. You must obtain the rights needed for recordings, samples, plugins, and other material you use. Extracting stems or importing a project does not clear copyright or grant rights to release someone else's work.
Third-party software notices
Session uses third-party components including JUCE, demucs.cpp, and Eigen. Those components retain their own licenses. Proprietary license restrictions do not supersede rights granted by those licenses or mandatory law. Release installers must include the applicable copyright notices, license texts, and any required source or other compliance materials. A complete release-specific inventory is still being prepared.
Brand and compatibility
Session is developed by THRY ARCHIVE LLC under the public brand THRY.ARCHIVE. FL Studio is a trademark of Image-Line. Session is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Image-Line. References to other products describe workflow or compatibility; import support is limited and results may differ.
Early-release expectations
The first version is expected to have bugs. Keep independent backups and test your plugin and project workflows. Report issues with the version, operating system, reproduction steps, and relevant plugin names. We use feedback to improve Session but cannot guarantee a fix date.
