Session by THRY.ARCHIVE / Software policy
Software license policy.
Last updated October 2, 2026. This policy describes permitted use and restrictions for Session. Session is in development. Release-specific terms, trial permissions, device limits, purchase conditions, and acceptance requirements will be presented before download or purchase.
Scope and acceptance
This policy applies to the proprietary Session desktop software supplied by THRY ARCHIVE LLC. Trial signup and checkout require affirmative acceptance of the software policy presented with the offer. Purchase benefits and price are those disclosed before payment. Installer terms must also be presented before installation. Separately sold plugins may have their own license terms. Website use remains subject to the website Terms of Service.
License and ownership
Session and THRY.ARCHIVE plugins are licensed software. THRY ARCHIVE LLC retains ownership of its software code, branding, and other intellectual property. A license grants permission to use the software under its applicable terms; it does not transfer ownership of the software or its source code.
No piracy or activation bypass
Do not use, create, sell, distribute, or assist in distributing unauthorized copies, cracks, key generators, stolen licenses, or tools that bypass activation or license checks. Use an authorized trial or a valid license issued by THRY ARCHIVE LLC or an authorized seller.
No unauthorized license sharing
Do not share account credentials, license keys, or activation files so that another person can use your license. The personal PC allowance is disclosed before purchase and recorded with the key; the default allowance is three active PCs. Contact support for device-limit problems or transfer requests. Mandatory transfer rights under applicable law are preserved.
No unauthorized redistribution
Do not repackage, sell, rent, sublicense, or distribute Session, its proprietary plugins, or modified software builds without written authorization from THRY ARCHIVE LLC. Share links to the official download page instead of hosting copies.
No reverse engineering
Do not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, extract proprietary source code from, or create unauthorized derivative software from Session or THRY.ARCHIVE plugins, except to the extent applicable law permits such activity despite this restriction or THRY ARCHIVE LLC grants written permission.
Customization and your creative work
Using Session's provided theme, wallpaper, workspace, preset, and plugin features is permitted. These restrictions concern the software and licensing, not ordinary music production or sharing your own original projects and presets. You retain your rights in the music you create, subject to the rights and licenses of any third-party content you use.
Third-party components
Third-party libraries, plugins, and other components remain governed by their respective licenses. This policy does not override permissions or obligations granted by applicable third-party or open-source licenses.
Free beta, devices, and transfers
Session is starting with a free beta until we feel it is ready for the official release. No purchase or payment details are required. Beta access is not a purchase of a perpetual Complete Edition license and does not automatically convert to a paid subscription. Beta keys have no scheduled expiry. We will announce the transition and access terms before the official release. Device allowance is shown before a key is issued. Do not bypass license or device limits. Paid release terms will be announced later. Mandatory consumer rights remain preserved.
Updates and future features
Updates released during the free beta are free. We plan to collect crash reports, fix the top 20 issues, and reach 50 real users before charging. These are development goals, not a guarantee that every issue will be resolved or a fixed release deadline. Future pricing and purchase entitlements will be disclosed before sales open. Existing paid license entitlements, if any, remain governed by their purchase terms.
Projects, plugins, and stem extraction
You are responsible for having permission to use your samples, recordings, plugins, and imported material. Stem extraction does not grant rights in the original recording or composition. Project import and third-party plugin compatibility are not guaranteed. Session is independent of Image-Line and is not endorsed by the makers of FL Studio.
FL Studio workflow and imports
Workflow familiarity and FLP/FST support describe limited interoperability, not an identical product or transfer of Image-Line licenses. Import only files you own or are authorized to use. Plugins, samples, presets, and factory content retain their original license conditions. An import does not unlock a plugin or authorize copying protected code or assets. Preserve original files and verify imported results; missing instruments, effects, or unsupported data may need replacement. FL Studio and other third-party names are used to identify the products involved, not to imply sponsorship or endorsement.
Early releases and support
Initial releases are expected to contain bugs and may have compatibility problems. Maintain independent project backups and test important workflows before relying on a release. Report reproducible issues through the contact page. Support and feedback do not guarantee a specific resolution or completion date.
Purchases, refunds, and consumer rights
Session purchases are closed during the free beta. No beta signup creates a payment obligation. Future checkout will disclose price, applicable taxes, delivery, refund process, and any cancellation rights before payment. This policy does not waive mandatory consumer rights or change rights under any existing paid purchase.
Warranty and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the proposed license supplies the software as available without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Release-specific warranty and liability terms will be presented before download or purchase. Nothing in this policy excludes liability or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits statutory remedies.
Termination and changes
Release-specific license terms may allow termination for a material license breach, with notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy it where appropriate and legally required. It must preserve applicable consumer remedies. Material license changes must be communicated before they apply; posting a new page alone is not intended to retroactively remove purchased rights.
Disputes and contact
THRY ARCHIVE LLC is formed in Wyoming. Its principal office and mailing address is 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. Contact contact@thryarchive.com to seek an informal resolution. Any release-specific governing law and venue provisions will be disclosed with the software agreement. This policy imposes no mandatory arbitration or class-action waiver.
Violations and reports
The final license agreement will describe remedies for violations, including circumstances in which license access may be suspended or terminated, subject to applicable law. Report suspected piracy or license abuse through THRY.ARCHIVE's contact page. Do not send passwords or license keys in a report.
